By combining youthful insights with industry knowledge and experience, J. Jilich Design offers a personalized experience, tailored to the individual client. Building client relationships is of the utmost importance to truly understand their wants and needs.

Interior designers at J. Jilich Design & Associates are qualified by education, exam, and experience to create safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces.  Our designers are professional members of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), have successfully completed the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) exam, or are in the process of obtaining certification.

We are trained and experienced in both commercial and residential design, and would love the opportunity to work with you to create a beautifully designed space.

"I feel that it is important that my clients' home or office should reflect their personality and not the 'look' of a particular designer. The goal is to have that personality be the center of their space."

Jane T. Jilich, ASID

Principal Designer

Jane grew up in Marion, South Carolina, and graduated from Converse College with a Bachelors Degree of Arts before receiving an Associate Degree in Applied Arts from the Art Institute of Houston.  She became NCIDQ certified in 1990.

With over 30 years of experience in the Interior Design industry, Jane has won many               for various types of design projects including commercial, residential, and her favorite, historic renovation.

She has created a name for herself in Charleston by using her skill to incorporate clients' wants with a design that will remain timeless and classic for years to come.

Jane is proud to have been the recipient of the ASID Carolinas Dora Gray Award, the highest award presented by the organization. It recognizes and honors a designer who epitomizes ASID's goal of excellence in their design achievements.   She also received the ASID Carolinas chapter award, recognizing her for outstanding volunteer work in and out of the interior design profession and the Carolinas Chapter Education Award.

When Jane is not in the office, she is either teaching her students at the Art Institute, gardening, or cooking with her husband.
